Rainier - June 2008.   The week before, 2 people died in ablizzard in almost this exact location.   We learned from their mistake and were well prepared.  We had a tent and super-warm sleeping bags.  This is one of the hardest things that I’ve ever done in my life.  I’m very proud of my son Kyle for making the journey with me.
